What are the delivery charges?
We use FedEx to ship your orders. Please note, shipping costs will depend on your location. We ship domestically within Australia and internationally. The following delivery charges will apply:
- Domestic: $120
- America: $200
- Europe: $200
- Asia: $150
- Oceania: $180
Delivery charges are inclusive of insurance. For orders placed outside Australia, please be aware that destination taxes may apply. Once the item has left Australia, as the purchaser, you may be liable for additional charges, including duty tax. Any additional fees are payable by the buyer and not JC Jewellery.
Where does my item ship from?
All items are shipped from our head office in Perth, Western Australia.
Do you offer a collection service for local customers?
Yes. You are more than welcome to collect your item(s) from our head office on Harrogate Street in West Leederville, Western Australia.
How do I track my order?
As soon as your order has been dispatched we will send you an email containing your unique tracking reference number. Once you receive your tracking number, you can track your order by visiting the FedEx website.
Do I have to pay for GST?
Yes. All online orders are inclusive of GST. If the jewellery items purchased are delivered to an overseas address, we can process them as a GST free sale. To do this, you will need to contact us first to arrange payment. Don’t forget, international deliveries may be subject to customs duties and import taxes. These additional costs will depend on your location.
Will you reimburse me for any additional charges and fees?
You will be responsible for covering all additional charges or fees for customs clearance. We have no control over these charges, and we cannot predict what additional charges you may be required to pay. We cannot reimburse any of these extra costs incurred, regardless of the circumstances.
Is it possible to avoid import duties and taxes?
It is a legal requirement that we declare the value of the goods in full, excluding shipping charges, on all packages. We have no control over which shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes. These additional fees are imposed once the shipment reaches your country. It is a criminal offence to falsify the details on shipping forms. So please do not ask us to inaccurately describe the contents, claim a lower value or mark it as a gift.
How do I find out about customs duties and import taxes?
For the latest information about customs duties and import taxes, we advise visiting the customs website relevant to the country where the goods are to be shipped.
Do I need to sign for my delivery?
Yes, all goods require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure you nominate a suitable address to receive and sign for the goods during business hours. If you use a business address, please also include the company name so the courier can find you easily. Once your order has shipped, we are unable to redirect goods.
What happens if the courier is unable to deliver my package?
In the event of an unsuccessful delivery, you will receive a notification from the courier company to make arrangements to finalise delivery. Items will be returned to JC Jewellery if they cannot be delivered and remain unclaimed. Should you require the goods to be resent, you will incur an additional shipping fee. The same guidelines (as above) will apply to this new delivery.
